The inaugural edition of the UAE Tour opens with a 16km flat team time trial on the Al Hudaryat island in Abu Dhabi.
A very fast course that saw the triumph of the Team Jumbo-Visma. The Astana Pro Team took the 15th place at 43”. Manuele Boaro comments after the performance of his team: “We did our maximum. As said our Sports Director Sedoun, we didn’t expect to be among the best teams today, seen that there were really strong specialists. All in all the result is what we expected”.
