After two good seasons at Team Bahrain Merida, Manuele Boaro is ready for a new challenge with the Astana Pro Team, that is another prestigious WorldTour squad.
The 31-years-old Italian rider signed a two-years deal with the Kazakh team, where he is one of the nine new athletes for 2019. Among them there will be the Izagirre brothers, Gorka and Ion, who were already his teammates last year and some other Italian riders as Ballerini, Cataldo and Vilella.
Manuele already met all his new teammates at the training camp, that was held on December in the Spanish town Altea. During the two weeks that he spent there, he could not only train, but also try the new materials and meet Sports Directors, trainers, doctors and management in order to set the racing and training programs for the upcoming season. Boaro had the pleasure to wear for the first time the sky-blue racing kit, during the official team presentation and he can’t wait now to wear it at his race’s debut, that will be soon, in Australia, at the Tour Down Under.
